We made it easy to deposit checks without having to rush to a branch! With Mobile Deposit, it is as easy as taking a ‘selfie’ only this time, it’s of your check.

How to Make a Deposit:

  1. Endorse the check and write below the endorsement “For Mobile Deposit Only”
  2. Place the check on a flat background and make sure it is visible, in focus, and in a well-lit area when taking the picture.
  3. Take a picture of the front of the check and the back of the check

* Accepted deposits made before 5:00 pm ET Mon-Fri will appear in your account the next business day. Accepted deposits made after 5:00 pm ET Mon-Fri or anytime on Sat or Sun. will appear in your account two business days later. Mobile Deposits are subject to review prior to acceptance. Please retain your check for 14 days after posting. After that, we recommend that you shred or otherwise destroy the check.

Every month, they come by mail. And every month you may feel the pressure or worry about paying them. What are we talking about? Bills, of course. Well, we made it a little bit easier for you. With Bill Pay, you can set up single or recurring payments online, safely and easily. To get started, you must first be enrolled in ESSA Online Banking.

Overdraft Protection

Avoid the inconvenience of overdrawing your bank account. Now you can, because we have you covered. Our Overdraft Protection program provides a convenient way to avoid the inconvenience of overdrawing your account or having an item returned for insufficient funds.

Just add Overdraft Protection to any checking account by linking it to a statement savings or money market account. Funds will automatically be transferred to your checking account when the balance does not cover checks that you have written or other items (ACH or debit card transactions, for example) presented for payment on your account.

We’ll do the work, and you’ll avoid having your check or electronic transaction returned. Standard insufficient funds/overdraft fees are waived, but a nominal transfer fee applies.
