Earlier this year, we announced that ESSA Bank & Trust would be joining the CNB Family of Banks and begin to serve you with an updated name, a new look and a renewed commitment to helping you achieve your financial goals.

As a customer of ESSA Bank, a division of CNB Bank, you’ll have the best of both worlds. You’ll work with the same familiar bankers, including your trusted branch and commercial team members. Plus, now you’ll have even more resources, convenience, value and services to enhance your financial experience.

It all starts this November.

That’s when we’ll be combining our operating platforms into one unified system. As part of this process, your accounts and services will move to our new system over the weekend of November 8, enabling you to take full advantage of everything we can offer.

You’ll find banking with us to be very similar to how you bank today. We’re working to keep changes to a minimum while bringing you added convenience and value.

Key Dates to Remember

Here’s some important information about what you can expect during the coming weeks as we get ready to begin serving you from one enhanced operating system. To help ensure a smooth transition, please be sure to take note of temporary service outages during the transition weekend.

Right Now
  • Continue to bank as you currently do at your local ESSA Bank branch or online at ESSABank.com. There are no changes to your accounts, cards, checks or online and mobile banking services at this time
  • Download the goVivo® mobile banking app on the App Store® or Google Play so you’re ready to begin using it on November 10
October 27-31
  • New ESSA Bank Debit Cards will be mailed to all customers with an ESSA Bank checking account and an active debit card. Follow the instructions on your card to activate it and set up your PIN.
  • Update your online banking password between now and November 7. See page 19 for pre-registration instructions
November 3-11
  • ESSA ATMs will be temporarily unavailable during this time period. Please use any non-ESSA ATM and we will rebate any 3rd party fees you incur by the end of November. You can also use any MoneyPass ATM
November 6
  • Your current online bill pay service will no longer be available and you will not be able to schedule new payments as of 3:00pm
  • Bill payments with payment dates through this date will be paid provided they’re scheduled for a date before November 7 or after November 10
November 7
  • All banking offices will close at their normal time, 5:00pm, and remain closed through the weekend
  • Online and mobile banking will be unavailable as of 5:00pm
  • Activate and begin using your new debit card as of 8:00pm
  • Take care of any banking activities prior to the weekend. Banking services will not be available during the weekend
November 8-9
  • Banking offices, online and mobile banking, ATMs and automated telephone banking will not be available
November 10
  • Banking offices will reopen at their normal time
  • Online banking will be available as of 9:00am.
  • Please be sure you’ve downloaded ESSA Bank’s goVivo® app, and deleted your current app
  • Bill Pay on your new online banking system will become available at 10:00am for previously scheduled payments due on this day or after, and to schedule new payments going forward
November 11
  • All banking offices will be closed in observance of the Veteran’s Day holiday
  • Online banking, mobile banking, ATMs and automated telephone banking will be available
  • Speak with a representative by calling 844-300-0777 from 7:00am-7:00pm
